Apple syrup for our pancakes this morning.
Super simple recipe!
Bring two cups of sugar, two cups of water and three, large, apples (chopped) to a boil on the stove. Stir often for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat. Mash apples. Let sit for 5-10 minutes. Strain mix through a cheese cloth or colander. Feel free to add ginger or cinnamon!
Great recipe for apples that get a little old or mushy or are otherwise not good raw.
