UCLA Basketball Player’s Father Does CNN Interview, Shames Fatherhood Nationwide

I’m a mom of four sons and they are not always the angels I want them to be. Now, none of them has ever committed grand theft, and certainly not in China, but they have been naughty from time to time and like any other traditional parent I will chastise them, make them apologize, thank people who helped and then issue an appropriate consequence/punishment. This is how parenting in the Western world has pretty much worked since the dawn of our time.

But as the family breaks down across America, especially the desperate state of the black family, we see people like LaVar Ball, who not only do not follow these universally recognized standards for bringing up children but will actually go on national television to flaunt their ignorance and their insistence at raising another generation of criminal, ungrateful, thugs who actually think they can commit grand theft in China and be OK.

The Business Inside Reports…

“‘He didn’t even know they were over there,’ Ball said. ‘What was he even over there for in the first place? … What I’m trying to say is, it’s not like he was in the US and said, ‘there’s three kids in China, I need to go over there and get ’em.’ That wasn’t the thought process.'”

So the president should only be thanked if he helped his son while in America? It doesn’t count if it was locationally convenient? Do you see the mental gymnastics here? This is what fatherhood has degrading into in Ball’s community.

Ball then tried to explain why he wouldn’t thank the president.

‘I don’t have to go around saying ‘thank you’ to everybody,’ Ball said. ‘He didn’t call me. I didn’t shake his hand. He didn’t have to say nothin’, but I’m just sayin’. I have to know what somebody is doing before I say ‘thank you.’ I’m not just going to go around saying thank you.'”

Here the original reporter of this piece desperately tries to write down the broken English this man is speaking. His sons attend UCLA but he can’t even be bothered to speak properly while on national television- this is what lowering standards get us.

Ball then suggested that they were already working behind the scenes to secure the players’ release before Trump got involved.

‘Maybe we were doing some talking with some other people before he even got there,’ Ball said, before adding that the president should deal with political matters, ‘there is a lot of other matters going around for the president to deal with that’s political. As far as me, let me deal with my son.'”

This man has the audacity to think that China gives two flips about who he or his son are! The arrogance is unbelievable! We may worship basketball players here in America and give them everything they want such as the life his son has had, but in China THEY DON’T CARE.

Things only deteriorated from there between Lemon and Ball as Ball, on multiple occasions, suggested Trump did not help the UCLA players because he did not bring them home on Air Force One.

‘I’ll tell you this. If I’m coming to get you, let’s say I’m coming to get you out of trouble,’ Ball said. ‘You best believe I am going to take you with me.'”

This is a prime example of why we need to end most sports scholarship programs and stop paying ball players millions of dollars. This whole community has become a bunch of entitled thugs who are terrible examples to our whole nation.

See if you can follow the logic here in which various versions of the word ‘confusion’ are muttered numerous time and ends with Ball saying if anybody needs to be thanked it is Chinese president Xi Jinping:”

Ok, try and wrap your mind around that! Wait, nevermind, don’t try. This is cultural Marxism at it’s finest. Let’s thank the communist leader who would have had your child killed. Ok.

Ball did say ‘that was nice,’ when told Trump talked to Xi about his son’s situation, but again asked, ‘what did he do for my son?’ But reiterated, ‘I’m not just saying thank you to anybody for nothing,’ and noted that he ‘had some things done’ and that he spoke with other people who ‘did some other things too.’

Ball also explained why thought it ‘wasn’t a big deal,’ saying he has seen friends go to prison for worse crimes and his son ‘wasn’t physical, he returned it, he fessed up to it … nobody got hurt.'”

Ball doesn’t seem to understand that China’s justice system is very different than America’s. Grand theft is not an issue they take lightly and you don’t get bonus points for being a basketball player like here in America.

He then dismissed again Trump’s influence on the release, noting that the president said he should have left them in jail.

‘First of all, they weren’t in jail, they was in a hotel,’ Ball said. ‘Now, how did they get to the hotel on bail? Somebody had to do something … If he helped, I’d say ‘thank you. So, anybody that speaks to the president, I should thank anybody who speaks with the president?’

At that point, Ball and Lemon got into a bizarre argument over who was actually there.

Ball then reiterated that he he ‘don’t know’ if the president actually helped in the release of the players, dropping one of his favorite lines, saying ‘let’s just stay in our lane,’ in reference to the president sticking to politics and LaVar Ball dealing with his son.

This led to an argument over whether or not Ball ‘took a shot’ at the president.

But if things seemed like they were already off the rails, the interview really went haywire when the pair sparred over thank yous, whether Lemon would thank Ball for his appearance, and going full circle to Ball saying he would have thanked the president if ‘he would have put him on his plane and took them home.'”

No sorry, you wouldn’t have. Your son would be rotting in jail or dead. We have grown so soft in America, so sheltered, that we actually think that being a ball player makes people special outside our borders. It means nothing. If we don’t get back to traditional values and put sports players back on their appropriate place, and wake up to the reality that so much of the rest of the world would eat us for breakfast as soon as look at us -we will lose everything.

So the next time a ball player is caught shoplifting-anywhere, let alone embarrassing us in front of another nation, he needs to lose his scholarship immediately. Public shaming would go s long way too.

And international news organizations need to cut the mic on people like LaVar Ball embarrassing us further by proclaiming to the word is ignorance.

Other, tougher nations like China are just circling the Western world like vultures right now licking their lips as we allow ourselves to be driven into the ground by our own false pride and arrogance.

Meanwhile, TradLifers will say “please” and “thank you” and teach our children to accept responsibility when they do something wrong.

God bless you.
